The thermal relief valve will open to release hot water and allow cold water to enter the pump. So it continues to operate at a safe temperature. If the pump has ever overheated, the thermal relief valve must be replaced
- Compatible with many brands, such as Generac, Homelite, Karcher, Briggs, Power Stroke, Husky, Black Max, Craftsman, Him Ore and Ridged pressure washers
- The valve can replace Homelite part numbers 678169004, 678169002 and 678169001, and Briggs and Stratton parts 208673GS, 21783GS, 194298GS and B3090GS
- Made of brass. Max. inlet pressure of pumps is 200 PSI
- Fitting: 1/4" NPT. The outside diameter of male thread is 1/2 inch. Include 2 pieces pressure washer release valve
